In Asia, GfK has the ability to track sales of automotive products in the aftermarket in all major distribution channels such as car garages, car accessories, fast fitters and tire specialists.
GfK Asia first introduced Automotive retail audit in 2009, starting with passenger car tires in Malaysia, Indonesia and South Korea. The service will be commencing in Thailand and Philippines in 2011. Apart from car tires, GfK Asia also tracks other products like lubricants and car starter batteries in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
