Data protection and security

As a matter of course, GfK is responsible in the way in which it handles personal data. When using our online offers, certain data is automatically stored on our servers for technical administrative, statistical or security purposes. This process does not involve the collection of personal data. In some areas, such as when information is requested, some personal data may be stored, however, only in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law, provided such data is given voluntarily or its storage expressly consented to. Such data is processed only for GfK internal reasons. Consent may be revoked by post or email at any time, with effect for the future. GfK shall guarantee the confidentiality of the data given. No data will be transmitted to third parties by way of sale, rental or exchange.
