The 2nd International Business Forum Cologne, which was held under the title "Memories are more…" October 21/22, 2009 in Cologne, Germany, was the biggest event of its kind in the photo and imaging industry in Europe. According to the organizers, International Contact and Photo Imaging News, more than 200 industry delegates attended the event, which was supported by photokina and the market research company GfK Retail and Technology.
During the international conference, top executives from leading manufacturers and service providers as well as international experts shared their views of the future of the digital imaging market, with a particular focus on new business models that take advantage of the rapidly growing number of images in social networks. Successful retailing concepts and printing business models played also a major role in the speeches and panel discussions.
In the mini trade show that was held alongside the conference, four gold sponsors (CeWe Color, Eastman Kodak, HP and Lucidiom) and ten silver sponsors presented their products and services.
