It is a joint venture between GfK, one of the top five largest market research companies worldwide, and Media Control, European leader in the supply of sales entertainment data.

GfK m2 currently monitors mobile content in Europe, with further services planned in Asia, Australia and the USA.

Large network operators, including T-Mobile and Vodafone and content providers, such as Jamba provide the company with mobile content data.
