27 April 2009Facts, figures and Imaging market trends - GfK RT and industry experts will once again share their insights and knowledge on an international platform at two major Imaging/ Photo conferences in Q4 2009.
The 2nd International Business Forum will be held in Cologne, Germany on October 21st – 22nd. The forum will be divided into two parts. The theme of the first part will be "Memories are More". Attendees will be able to learn from and comment on the views of key executives from leading manufacturers and service providers as well as from international experts on the future of the Digital Imaging market. Refreshing new ideas for marketing new digital imaging and communication technologies will be presented.
The second part of the October event will be formed by the GfK Executive Conference, the theme of which will be "Consumers, Convergence and Communication". GfK Retail and Technology experts will outline recent trends in the market from its continuous retail research and will draw on GfK consumer research to demonstrate and discuss how people use their digital devices to communicate using pictures and to enjoy and share images on TV, the Internet and Mobile Devices.
The second major event will be the 2009 GfK Imaging Summit from November 30th until December 1st in Nuremberg, Germany. GfK's international experts will analyse how the world's key imaging markets are reacting to and surviving in the present economic environment and will look at where the imaging industry is headed in the future.
Following a successful participation in the GfK 2007 Imaging Summit, representatives from Germany's renowned Fraunhofer Institute for technical research will speculate on the direction of technical research within imaging and will share thier insights on product development in the medium to long-term.
The GfK Imaging Summit will be held in the advanced conference facilities of Nuremberg's Germanisches National Museum. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to spend some time at the Nuremberg Christmas Market on the city's main square. This will be followed by dinner for all attendees in the Great Hall of Nuremberg's Castle, looking out over the ancient city.
