Research company GfK Asia Pte Ltd has inked a partnership with Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF), the global trade association of the mobile media industry to provide insight to the Mobile Content world.
The mutually beneficial deal, signed in March 2010, will see GfK Asia provide their ‘Mobile Content Industry Report’ designed to help industry players gain invaluable insight into the mobile content and entertainment markets. The MEF’s long established expertise and wide-reaching influence in the industry will assist GfK in promoting their mobile content research services on a global scale.
Piloting the study in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, GfK will be collecting sales data from content aggregators, operators, online portals, aggregate and process the data and then produce detailed, analytical reports to contributors. The report will provide guidance to the potential market size of the industry, channel and pricing structures, along with a hit list of mobile content products.
