Digital World at a Glance: 

• GfK Digital World provides visibility of high level trends and forecasts for global tech device spending and demand at the retail level
  
  
• All major products sold to consumers are covered, including mobile handsets, TVs, PCs, and many more
  
  
• Data can be segmented by region, country and product
  
  
• The baseline data for GfK Digital World is GfK POS data from around 340,000 retailers and resellers in approaching 80 countries, representing 1.6m retail outlets worldwide. The exception is North America, for which retail sales estimates are based on manufacturer sales data provided by the Consumer Electronics Association
   
• Data updates are currently available twice yearly, in March and September
