In order to portray the touristic market realistically as an entity, it is enough to compose a sample whose structure corresponds with the total market (i.e. which is representative). Booking data from all in all 1,200 travel agencies flow into GfK Travel Insights, which reflect key properties of the market in general, related to turnover and size, regional distribution as well as business organisation (chains, cooperations, franchise). Changes that occur in the market will be mirrored by the panel at the short term – and travel agencies within the sample is what the panel consists of.
Your participation on Travel Insights is free of charge and means no further inconvenience for your side! All booking registrations arranged at your travel shop will be gained automatically from the reservation system or from mid-office. To achieve this, GfK cooperates with different travel agency software providers. They install an electronic interface in your booking system or in midoffice to retrieve the data on a daily basis without further effort.

What we need now is the declaration of your own agreement. If you have open questions, feel free to give us a call. If you don’t, just fill in the code of your travel agency or shop, sign the agreement certificate by which you declare that you subscribe and supply booking data registered in your electronic system, complete the data sheet with the most essential information concerning your travel agency, and send us both with fax or mail.
