Every single fact registered with a booking can be evaluated per se or in a sensible context. Booking data can be assigned to separate kinds of distribution (chains, franchise, co-operation) and broken down to the six source regions Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, North Rhine Westphalia, North (Hamburg, Bremen, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein) East (Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia) and Centre (Rhineland-Palatine, Saarland, Hesse). Due to  the wide range of data in audit, there is a multitude of analysis and evaluation possibilities. Since the winter season 2006/2007, the GfK Travel Insights can draw valid insights from comparisons on a year-to-year basis.
